It is my pleasure to invite you to take part in the Blue Ridge HealthCare Golf Invitational on May 20 & 21 at Mimosa Hills Golf and Country Club. The Invitational is known as one of the top Pro/Am tournaments in Western North Carolina. We encourage you to join us and tee it up for a great cause.
The 2011 tournament proved to be a very successful fundraiser for the Burke County School Nurse Program with more than $50,000 being directed toward the program. School nurses are a vital part of our community as they provide direct care to students with epilepsy, diabetes, asthma and many other illnesses and injuries requiring immediate and extended attention. Maintaining funding for this program is of the utmost importance.
This year, the Blue Ridge HealthCare Foundation will adhere to its mission and allocate all proceeds to programs within the hospital and community that support necessary healthcare services to our most vulnerable populations.
